Bantu is a lover of people. He is a young man with passion for both the young and the old hence starting the project which would benefit people who are going through the same or even worse challenges that he went through as a young person. Born and bred in Sosiani and Kibera slums of Eldoret and Nairobi, life was quite a struggle for basic necessities as still felt by many in the slums. It is majorly through the kindness of strangers, friends, well wishers, the church and the grace of God that the Urban Hope Project exists.

Bantu is holder of Bachelor of Divinity from St. Paul’s University in Kenya. He is also a trained Youth Worker and an Urban Missionary; trained by Church Army UK and Church Army Africa in UK and Kenya. He is currently a Masters Candidate studying Strategic Leadership Management and Advocacy. He is also doing a post graduate diploma in Education. When Bantu is not busy with the work of the Urban Hope Project, you will find him attending music and art events, watching football, listening to gospel ragga or worship music, managing artists, playing guitar or working on some graphic design.
